Herman@ Mentorship Program
ALPFA's HERMAN@ Mentorship Program The aims to pair each new member with an upperclassman mentor who shares similar career goals. During your first semester as a new member, your Herman@ will help you establish a strong relationship and friendship with other older members in the organization. They will also assist you in exploring your career path, classes, and work on professional development. This includes reviewing your resume, preparing for interviews, creating a LinkedIn profile and four-year plan, and introducing you to networking in industries that interest you.

Program
Individualized help from a mentor with anything relating to the Intercollegiate Transfer process ICT Mentors from last year OR ICT transfers. Our Intercollegiate Transfer Program into the Gies College of Business has seen a 90% success rate in the past three years!
ALPFA Scholarship Program
The Association of Latino Professionals for America (ALPFA) at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign seeks to empower its members by providing them with the resources and opportunities to ultimately develop and guide them into becoming leaders.
High School Outreach Program
ALPFA UIUC seeks to promote higher education/professional development by encouraging Latino students to apply to the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and join the ALPFA network. Individuals that partake in the ALPFA experience are better prepared for the real world and become more marketable businesses.
